Question:
I have a Mac and iTunes. How do I add songs from my computer to my MP3 player?

Answer:
The software that came with your MP3 player will not install on a Mac because it was designed for Windows Media Player. To add songs on your Mac to the player, you will need to convert the songs you have in iTunes to MP3 and then manually drag them to the drive that appears on your background desktop when you connect the player to your computer. To do this, please follow the steps below.

  1. Connect the player to an available USB port on your computer. You will see a new drive mounted on your background desktop.
  2. Open iTunes and click the iTunes menu in the upper left-hand corner of your menu bar and choose Preferences.
  3. In the Preferences screen click Advanced and then click Import. In the “Import Using” field choose MP3 Encoder and click OK.
  4. In your iTunes library, click on the song you want to add to the player to highlight it, then click 'Advanced' on your menu bar at the top and choose “Convert Selection to MP3.”
  5. Once the song has been converted, click on 'File' in your menu bar and choose 'Show Song File' or 'Show in Finder.' This will open a new screen in which you will see the actual song file.
  6. Click on the song file and drag it to the newly mounted drive on your desktop and it will copy to the player.

Once you have converted and copied the songs that you want to the player, be sure to properly eject the player from your computer before disconnecting it.
